I remember wearing Converse that day with those two very convenient little holes at the bottom My feet were that wet I had to wring my socks out in the toilet on the plane home Not good.
Added to the fact that we had to argue with the people in the ticket office in French for our tickets, it was a good job we won the game. I do remember as well some old woman collaring Uncle Mo on the coach back to the airport and demanding a summer game the following year.
