I know we already have a half time entertainment thread but this is slightly different.

I’m quite disappointed with the club just because they used a club legend in Hampo during the HT entertainment but yet there was very little fan fair about it. The first time I realised it was him was when he was taking the kicks and from the back of the East stand I had 2 ask my mate if it was Hampo!

It would have been nice to have put it on the website that It was happening so we could have given a club legend imo a proper reception.

As a side note also does anyone else think we should do this part of the HT entertainment with ex players every week? In the run up to the game they could put a special post about them on the website showing their achievements, a career summary and what they are doing now. At the end of the day the Meca Bingo ‘house’ is all for raising money for charity so lets make it as high profile as possible.

A club with as much history as ours should defiantly use it a hell of a lot more than it already does.

I'm not sure what your saying, your either saying he wasnt trying which is ridiculous considering its for charity and its good of him to agree to do it.

OR..

your saying he isnt capable of throwing the ball straight, in which case you are taking away from arguably our best fullback ever...

I'm fairly sure despite the "£50 for every ball passed in" etc. statement that Mecca/Wigan RLFC would put a pre-determined amount of money into charity kitty whether he got 10 or 0.
