Thanks for making the effort Wilf. Please don't even consider winding up the Diary. We find out more from your musings than we do from 'Airlie night' on KCFM or FC.Com put together. Great read as usual.
Always read the diary and to be honest enjoy it. Its good to hear a genuine fans view on his team and its history. However, as a robin, i take offence at been referred to as a "dick". Dont think the comment does you any credit Wilf and would be interested to know why you felt the need to use the term.

Out of curiosity, do you know how a linesman signals a forward pass or are you just pretending to act clever?
They are miked to the referee every game in the super league but they still make the signal, even for the sky games
Watch the derby from friday again when Welham throws a ball to fox which goes forward I think its in the first 10 minutes. The linesman makes the signal for a forward pass then as well

and what is a touch judges signal for forward? As, a professional touch judge, I know what the signal is - but very few people actually do. I don't have sky to watch the incident, so perhaps you could.
All pro games, the officials are miked together, not just sky and SL. A tj will only give a visual signal if the referee looks or the comms set is not functioning as it should.

The flag is held vertical close to the linesmans body, I could show you if I had a flag
