Looking on the guardian website..specifically in the comments section, here

http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/wol ... d_a_draw_/

Surely none of that is true? I know we as a club are a self sufficient business and can't simply rely on Moran to bail us out when things get tough, but things aren't that bad are they?

Didn't people see the news article about the club making a profit for last year, it was only 2 months ago.

Do you think Moran who I think has over 90% of the shares would allow the instances mentioned happen. Those fans need to be careful about what they say.

Am I right in thinking that we were graded as an A for the Super League licence which looked into the finance of the club. If we had no money , I don't think TS would have took the job.

Apart from anonymous comments on the Warrington Guardian message board, there's no evidence we're in any sort of difficulty financially. On that basis, I'd have to say no.

Ahh bless that loan to the council cropps up again  usually the same guy raises the loan issue, some chip on his shoulder. Thought we had paid it anyway.

Gatliffe has stressed on a number of occasions that income is down this year due to a number of sponsors withdrawing their backing and falling season tickets sales.

So are we in financial trouble I can't see it as we have had previous good acounts since we moved to the HJ, but things don't appear as good as they were IMO.
