We will not go through the season unbeaten and expect us to lose up at Haven especially after them losing to Barrow on Friday! I think it will be a battle of the forwards and that Haven will shade it by 6-10 with some interesting reffing

Hopefully the haven forwards will be battered and bruised after a physical game against Barrow. So a bit of pace might just tip it in our favour. Plus it looks like keeping McNally quiet is a big part to keeping haven quiet.
Last year i took my dad up to watch the NRC game after we had been playing well at the start of the season. Only for us to put out the second team and got stuffed. That was a very long day that just got worse as the afternoon went on.

I too made the long trip last year, took my son. Was absolutley gutted when I saw the team we put out taht day.
Monday has to be the end of our terrible record up there.
BUT don't worry too much if you do lose as i believe tis is the year of the Fax.
We seem to raise our game when we play you and i expect us to do the same this time.
We should have and would have beaten Barrow without some dodgy reffing.
safe journey to all you fans who make the long trip

Let's be positive about this one. We were saying the same things about Barrow and we came away with a result, so why can't we be a bit more positive about the 'haven game.
I know we don't usually come away with much, apart from green glowing skin and low sperm counts, but this time we can achieve another great result and keep the season rolling along.
This squad is high on confidence and the supporters need to keep the faith and cheer them on like they do down the Shay.
Keep McNally quiet and I'm sure it will be Fax to win by 16,
Haven 16- Fax 32 , 1850 crowd , MOM Mark Gleeson
IF YOU WANT TO WIN IT YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT.
DESIRE AND PASSION FOR 80 MINUTES.
COME ON FAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the first time since we have been in this league, our forwards are better than the Haven forwards imo. It always seems to be the same thing for us up there - there forwards get on a roll making off loads etc and we cant handle them - it will change on monday - our defence will match up and our forwards will make good hard yards against them and then our speed round the ruck will be hard for them to contain - think we will break the hoodoo this year.
