We can through effort, determination, quality and a bit of luck win the title this year, and there's definitely enough team spirit to manage this in the Odsal camp.
Nobody is behind them more than me.
People presume too much, they may have only tasted success or near success, and time has taught me that no team, not us, not Man U, not Barcelona, not Leeds United, not Derby County, not Nottingham Forest, not Chicago Bears, not the West Indies, not Australia, nobody can be at the top all the time, forever.

You did indeed, and on the said thread I gave a pretty fair answer as far as I was aware. Did you not see it? Duckman certainly did.
I can only assume that you did not see it or else you would not feel the need to reproduce your prose on another thread (perhaps you did not get enough people praising you for it so you thought you would double your chances of success?)
Anyway, as I said, I posted a reply to you in what I thought was a fair way giving a good assessment of the match where I gave the team and the coach the credit they deserve, yet it clearly is not enough for you. It certainly seems that I am damned if I do and damned if I don't.

I think you are trying to give me some abuse but when I find out what a "Quisling" actually is I will be better informed to comment. Pretty good word to use in Scrabble though so I will keep it in mind.

As a win, it was 100% merited, they worked their backsides off and played well to do it. I suspect this annoys you, and this is why in a rush to disparage it, you picked a completely inappropriate noun.
I think you are deliberately misquoting again FA. The win last night was most certainly not a fluke, as I have mentioned elsewhere. The point I was making is that unless the team can start performing like that more regularly in big games and last nights result is a one-off then it would look like a fluke result.
Which would be unfair.

Fair enough. But when the club media man's mouthpiece on here suggests that I should "consider suicide" (a post that subsequently was rightfully removed) then I think any comments I have made look kinda tame in comparison.

Agreed. Frustration obviously can get the better of some when we're talking about something many of us are all passionate about.

As any fule kno, a Quisling is a baby quiz, a bit like Trivil Pursuit Junior. HTH
