I want more than that, i don't want to accept 2nd best a club of our size and staure should be competing for every honour on a regular basis, we are going backwards quickly
I don't, but the simplistic view of "sack the board" is not the answer I feel.
However it is the only thing you have to say !
The point about coaches and boards is that I would expect the board to trust the coaches decision about playing matters. We would all be annoyed if they didn't. However, because Sharp didn't want Briscoe you expect the board to step in. You can't have it both ways and I feel you are seeking a utopian world that doesn't exist.
Can you really name me a team apart from Saints, who's fand are happy with their board ? How would you feel if you were a Bulls fan ? Or Wire, having spent a load of money (again) ? Or Leeds, who have now lost 2 in a row ?
Sorry, but I think your arguments are a best facile and at worst misguided. Not a personal comment on your integrity or desire for the club; I admire that !
I have been a regular for a lot of years and have suffered a lot more disappointment and heartache than I have joy. However like you I love my team and always want the best for them.
However the world is not as simple as "sack the board" and that is why I made my comment.
As posted on the "EVERYONE PLEASE READ" thread, and with acknowledgement to xxHoneyxx who has already pointed the below out in this thread too:
Gary Hetherington was at the Hull v Hull KR game - he was in the Circle Restaurant after the game. Do not know where he was sat during the match but assume it was the "directors box" seats with his wife?
It seems obvious that he and Kath then went to the Bulls v Rhinos game after her obligations at the KC (including post-match round-up to sponsors) was completed?

Agree with all you say, and early 'boring' comments. Some people think we have a divine right to sign any player we like and forget things like the salary cap come into play. Would love to see us winning every week playing sparkling rugby but am realistic enough to realise that there are 13 other clubs after the silverware also. Saddle up and enjoy the ride, this is Hull FC after all

If you all keep calling him/her maybe he/she'll get fed up and move his/her Super League franchise to South Yorkshire or West Cumbria?!?

She was clearly asking for odds on which team's supporters would be the most p*ssed of today. Leeds' for losing or Hull's for that embarrassing signing.

Now see, heres the thing. Hetherington knows Hull fans would never boycott because of their loyalty and passion for the club. She and the board are in it for the money, put a team out on the cheap to keep the fans coming in. The only way you could shock the board is to accept mediocraty for a couple or three seasons and boycott the club, snub the new merchandise and make the club untenable. But if I were a Hull fan I could never do that. No win situation.
