Listen pal, I have been in Court enough times to know that any Solicitor worth his salt would of had everyone in that pub making statements to varify the other stuff you are saying and it would of all had been released in Court and in the press and used in Ben's defence. Funny how the Ponte and Cas express, the Yorkshire post and none of the Nationals that picked up on it bothered to print any of this stuff either!!
If it happened as you say why were there no proceedings against the other guy because if four or five people made statements it would of been investigated?
I have no doubts the other guy is a bell end, you can tell by looking at him, but dont make excuses. We all make silly choices, I have done it enough times, but you need to be man enough to face the punishment and personally I think it was light. I got 3 months for one punch with no previous, how the hell is that justice if you can kick a man in the head and get a suspended sentence?
