You "love" Rovers differently to that of say your children, parents and other close family and friends. A gun is pointed at your child you'd probably stand in front of that weapon to save your child, however you wouldnt die for Rovers, it would upset you but you wouldn't sacrafice yourself for it.

What a lot of religeous believers have is a love that outweighs their love for their family and friends and some believe that if they die for their cause their afterlife will be so great it outweighs the cost they have paid in this life.

As for the unwritten rule of "one in all in" and "put them down and make sure they stay down or they'll get up and do it to you" maybe you havent heard of it but its out there and not one just shared by Longhill folk. I havent played for any team that hasn't used the term "one in all in" and it doesnt just count on the pitch either.

He's far from innocent mate, if he hadn't have beat his girlfriend up in the pub then none of this would have happened as no one would have said a word to the knob never mind beat him up. He regularly hits his girlfriend and doesn't work. Hes seen the easy money with the HDM and I believe the main editor of this paper is a big FC fan (correct me if Im wrong). Bet Thompson didnt start his story saying well i as wasted in the pub and my girl said somethinbg out of turn to me so I whacked her one........

KR fans I urge you to get behind Ben and support him through this set back he' a good lad with a big heart and he loves Hull KR and rugby league in general. Some of the messages hes had from people over this incident are sickening, people have told him they wish hed have died in Iraq, some of these are from rovers fans too. Now people know the full story I dont expect them to condone what he did but I think it gives people a bit more insght in to the full happenings of what went on that night and hopefully people can see what a cretin Thompson is and hat the papers didn't report the full version of events.
