This is Wigan RLFC not some middle of the table side and the sooner the players and the coaching staff realise this then we might see some improvement . Lets have some pride in playing for WIGAN and get us back were we belong and not having teams taking the mickey out of us.

The sooner some of our fans realise we ARE a mid table TEAM, then we might get some realism around here.

But you are a middle of the table side! You don't get to be top of the league just because you are wigan rlfc. FFS

I was impressed with you tonight. After the way you played us i was expecting saints to get 40.

I thought that you played your hearts out and were unlucky to lose against the best team in SL.

No one can doubt the players commitment after tonight. the task now is to back it up agaainst a lesser team and get two points

No completly wrong again!

The sooner fans stop accepting mediocrity like you seem to have given into the better.

The fans should never ever accept defeat to Saints at home as it would never happen the opposite way around! It doesn’t matter if we have a bunch of reserves out we should believe we have the skill to win every single game as that’s the club we are. When the fans accept defeat based on the nature of the performance or don’t demand victory the players will also accept it and then we are really screwed.

We should always demand better of the players and shouldn’t accept a good performance and a loss as a good point.

I really do despair sometimes and I wonder what the people who had the vision to make our club the greatest in the world by demanding the highest standards would think of this pittyfull attitude.

Yes we can take positives from the game but to seem to say ‘hey it doesn’t matter as we are a mid table team and we expect to be beaten is just wrong for Wigan RLFC.

Is this how far we have fallen? To be congraulated on losing? Oh deary me.

Sad state for Wigan. Has been for circa 10 years now.

Wigan wont be far from the top of the table if they perform like that for the rest of the season.

Any other team would have lost to Wigan tonight
Saints defence this year is awesome

Great game

We played well, should have taken our chances, didn't and in turn got beat!, however plenty of positives to take. I just hope that they can build on that performance and take it into the rest of the season!

Where we are in the league at present is a pretty ugly place too be, and our win/loss record isn't the best, so lets hope for better at Catalans!

Ok I take the point we lost, in particular I don't like it any more than you do but that's sport winners, losers and opposing points of view and to be honest I really did enjoy the game. The effort the lads put in was tremendous, if they played every 80mins like that one there could have been a few more wins in the 'W' Column, but they didn't we havn't and so have to move on.. For God's sake let's build (Rome wasn't built in a day) a sustainable success, a team to be proud of one with a competitive spirit that makes our youth system the envy of the RL world and ensures that with the best experienced players they combine to make a team every professional player wants to play for.

Even the bloody Titanic sank, not because of an Iceberg but because of a lack of cutting edge technology and huuman error!! Yes we are Wigan Rugby but imo that's a title that has been hidden in the sand during the previous administration and will take many more months of the present administration, in whom we must trust, to ensure that the name of the club is as successful as it ever has been. As for fans from other clubs taking the Mick, as long as it's not McIlorum, I'm not to bothered.

Rant Over
