Simples! :)

I don't understand the small time mentality of some rugby league fans this is why people prefer football, because it's a place were people can have their release without feeling as though they will be castigated for it afterwards, what happens in a rugby stadium should stay in a rugby stadium simple as, it's not a true reflection of society, you yourself have admitted to referring to certain players as 'stupid c***' this would be deemed unacceptable in polite society, but is said in the controlled environment of a sports stadium, so is not particularly wrong at the end of the day if your going to jump on yer high horse and say 'you, you shouldn't do that your banned' what can i say, support will dwindle considerably. I saw what went on at halifax and wouldn't even use the word abuse it was more a heated exchange of words and in my opinion there was nothing wrong about it, but hey at the end of the day who is to say who right and who is wrong i certainly won't take on that mantle.

Well if you want to go to watch sport to shout obscenities directly at another human being, who will/may have their families present, as well as having their own feelings, then I would suggest you do exactly that; go and watch chavball. You’re sure to find like-minded morons there.

Gregory Peck wrote: you yourself have admitted to referring to certain players as 'stupid c***' this would be deemed unacceptable in polite society, but is said in the controlled environment of a sports stadium,

I haven’t swore in a stadium for a long time. I still take my 10-year-old son, whom I never swear in front of. However, the occasional curse if not done too loudly, is understandable. Singling out individual players for abuse and humiliation isn’t. There is a massive difference.

Gregory Peck wrote:, it's not a true reflection of society, so is not particularly wrong at the end of the day if your going to jump on yer high horse and say 'you, you shouldn't do that your banned' what can i say,

It’s a reflection on the pathetic individuals who do this, but also reflects the way our fans can be viewed by people from outside the club. This is not about me getting on my high horse, I think you’ll find that you are in a very small minority and pretty much on your own on this board with your views.

Gregory Peck wrote: support will dwindle considerably

No it won’t. In fact it is more likely to increase if we rid our club of the few vexed up angry morons that call themselves supporters.

The trouble at Halifax is, sadly, not an isolated incident. Common sense tells any reasonable adult what is acceptable. The club will do the rest. They’ve already got rid of one scumbag, so they seem to mean business. Therefore I’d expect more scum to be booted out before long, so they can sit at home and shout at their TV’s with the other sad morons.

Mate I always thought your posts were quite well though up and intelligent, but here you have felt the need to jump on the bandwagon. One thing that pisses me off about league fans, think that because they watch a sport that ISN'T football their souls are fundamentally more 'pure' or something. For what it's worth I have seen plenty of to$$ers at the footy, but there are an equal amount (per ratio) at RL. OK there is less bile and trouble at the rugby, but plenty of numpties.

Football has a lot more glory hunting types, with little love or understanding of the game, who go to football matches to froth at the mouth and fight with opposing fans in the street. They could never hold an RL Magic type weekend, with thousands fans mingling together. They struggle to keep order with just two teams playing.

Prem Football fans and RL fans are worlds apart.

Nothing small time about being respectful to one another. The morons who follow Wendyball who think getting 'a release' is all about abusing each other, fighting, throwing coins at referees and general c**tishness is about as small time as it gets... Small time, small minds. Rugby League prides itself on respect and this element of scum that infests our set of fans would perhaps feel more at home with the moronic Wendyball thugs.

What utter rot. It's a sad reflection of society that people can't go and enjoy a rugby league match without some drunken cretin spoiling it by being abusive and threatening towards anyone who crosses them. What happens in a rugby league stadium is that people should feel safe and not intimidated and enjoy the sport.

I can't even be arsed to read the rest of the guff you're spouting. You should try changing your name to Gregory Peckerhead.. It would seem more appropriate.

Yes, and in Halton they're generally sad sods pretending to have some connection with teams who play in cities at either end of the East Lancs Road.

"My grandad's cousin is from Middleton and our family has watched Man U since 1753, so I'm a Manc our kid. Buzzin'! Sorted!!"

or

"My uncle once had a pint in The Big House la! Yer doin' me 'ead in lad!"
