Told you it'd be Anderson.

Also for the record after 4 rounds, the leading tackler in the NRL is:

DALLAS JOHNSON with 203. ave 50.8.

he led NZ to their first major title win against australia in the 2005 Tri Nations Final in leeds, so yeah, quite sucessful.

im taking it you missed the manly / warriors game then?

Is that the same Manly side that is struggling to beat anyone and how many minutes did he play?

I understand Stacey was in the run on team this week - what was the result - what was the result against the Broncos?

Could I suggest Steve Price's inclusion in their side has a much greater effect on the results than Stacey's

Perhaps he should stick to playing the last 20 minutes each week - as I said before the season started if the NRL is as tough as everyone says he simply cannot live with that at his age - but according to Dally he got through pre-season!!!

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

the club are idiots for doing that.

how did finch become a 200 game veteran if he is a poor player?

why did 6 or 7 clubs express an interest in finch today.

anderson is a dead set dope for doing this.

hes got little back up halves.

the eels are now going to have zero experience in the halves all season.

Can't be any worse than having Finch in the halves - he is a non entity - why has he played 200 games - simple because there is a distinct lack of half backs of any quality - when Greg Bird gets selected at 6 for SOO you know you are struggling. Or turn it on its head if Finch is so good how did Bird get selected before him?

Mark O'Neil played 200+ first grade games - longevity and quality don't not always go hand in hand :D

Well all I can say is you are in a minority of one in your view about Finch's ability - nothing new there - even the Eels fans that see him week in week out don't rate him.

Why not answer the points raised about why Bird was selected for SOO at half back, if he is so good why has he not played origin since 2006 in a position that NSW are struggling to fill successfully?

He may have 6 phone calls but how many of those sides are serious and willing to pay his current salary and how many are hoping he is desperate and will take a lower offer?

to sum up your recent comments, nathan hindmarsh is a poor tackler, and stacey jones was too old to return to the nrl.

Like your 30 tackles a game half backs - good post that :D

When did I say Hindmarsh was a poor tackler - you could not show it on the thread so here is another opportunity - don't make accusations that you cannot support. I would have thought 30 tackles a game half backs would have taught you about spouting rubbish obviously not.

On Jones he has played four games of which 3 he started off the bench - the one he started they got beat and scored less points than in the other three games - perhaps the two things are connected - let's see how he is going in August!!

Now let's get back to the topic - as I shown the fact a player manages 200 games in the NRL doesn't automatically make them a good player if Finch is such a good player how come he is not playing SOO when NSW had had to resort to the like of Bird because they have so little quality in that position - doesn't that say something to you about Finch's ability.

Now just answer some of the points raised rather than changing the subject because you argement has been exposed for the vacuous dribble it is.

finch was on The Footy Show tonight :

1. he confirmed anderson told him he wasnt part of his future plans and finch thought it best he left now

2. other parramatta players will be leaving the club at the end of the season

3. finch has been granted a release from the eels and is free to sign a deal with either NRL or SL clubs now

4. more than 1 SL club have already expressed an interest in finch
