There is no excuse, WHATSOEVER, for directing personal abuse at players!
It is a disgusting and cowardly action carried out by brain dead morons with the IQ of an amoeba, and it is absolutely guaranteed to be counter productive.

I'm all for expressing opinions, but foul mouthed personal abuse has nothing to do with expressing opinions.

Are you talking about Doran, TKL or someone else?
I don't see a single player doing this. They're not all great, but that's not necessarily due to what you have written. We've even had youngsters like Yates abused and booed off the field by some thick b4stards.
Even if it was due to what you claim, which happens relatively rarely imo, fans that abuse players from the safety of a crowd are the lowest form of 5hithouse imaginable. The sooner our club can rid itself of them the sooner we might be able to generate a great club and team spirit that will take us where we want to be.
If certain players don't perform they will be dropped and will not have their contract renewed. The constant abuse of players, by unknowledgeable fans, is totally counter productive and can only help contribute to a downward spiral in team morale and our once great club will go that way too.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

Pepe, you are guilty of seeing the bigger picture with your last post - shame on you .
The fact that Gregory Pr!ck thinks that players should hang about when they haven't been payed and can't see themselves being payed for the foreseeable future speaks volumes for his knowledge of anything.
Tell me, who needs to worry about feeding and clothing the kids or keeping a roof over their heads - obviously not our rich Hollywood knobthrob Gregory .
I too am totally fed up with imbeciles who think they have the answer to everything and feel they have the right to slag players off because they don't perform to the highest standards available - if they want the highest class of rugby about then they can all pissoff to Saints.

It doesn't help when certain players who were awarded 2 year contracts following administration already know their contract will not be renewed next year, yet are still pulling on the shirt and evidently not giving 100% that is counter productive and will affect team morale no doubt about it

Some people are just confused due to either arrogance or low intellect. It makes them jump to conclusions about the team and individual player performances. They have a poor level of understanding of the game, and cannot understand that there will be things going on behind the scenes of any well run club that will automatically sort out the wheat from the chaff. They have no idea what injuries some players maybe carrying or if a player may asked to change his style or position. The style of play maybe restricted, due to poor recruitment and lack of Size/speed or cover in certain positions and a myriad of other issues could be part of the problems they regard as serious enough to froth at the mouth about.
Many of these issues will be going on unseen behind the scenes at the club and, therefore, the people at the club will be in a far better place to judge what is really going on. I've every faith in the people running the club and, as such, I do not need to scream insults at players doing their proffessional best for the club, even if their performances fall short of my personally required standard. I may express some concern, and indeed criticise certain players after a poor performance, but I'm always aware that I do not have the full story and may even be wrong.
It's just easier for them to pin everything on certain players. They don't have to think that way, and it probably makes them feel good doing it afer two pints of Stella.
Gregory Peck urged me to chill out. I wonder if he is able to see the irony of his request?
Oh, by the way, concerning your avatar; is that the painting L.S. Lowry did in Widnes

Care to elaborate so I can understand who and what you are talking about, and how you have come to know what you think you know?
And could you please explain how verbally abusing them from the saftey of the stand will help rectify such a problem?

i don't think i said verbal abuse of the players was the way to go, infact i have never verbally abused a player myself, however other people who have payed their money have a right to air their views their are different methods ofcourse. Many prefer to do this from the comfort of their computer, others will do face to face, there isn't much difference.
