we sacked a player last season who was convicted of the same offence and incarcerated, just seems like some clubs don't care that Rugby League is supposed to be a family sport. Hull KR being one such club.

It was Damian Reid, who would probably have been in the first team. Keep in mind Stephen Bannister was also given the boot and he looked like a very promising player.

Either way, what's it got to do with whether or not they're sacked. Basically what you're saying is if they're good then they can get away with whatever they want.

No but what would be the point of sacking him when he would just be signed by someone else

Due to the fact that the criminal justice system in this country is in a hopeless state.

The Home Office/ Home Secretary are useless cant even submit and process a simple expenses claim let alone run the justice system.

The judges are in a dream world and are oblivious to the one that we live in too busy working out their pensions.

Some of the defence barristers are like a corkscrew.

The CPS should appeal against the light sentence immediately.

Besides the point. If the club had any decency they wouldn't care who signed him - it would be the other club who were frowned upon. It's a cheap excuse in my opinion

Bannister was kicked out the club and you can't seriously be comparing what Wilshere did to what Cockayne did?
