It means more to the fans than it does the players now. In years gone by when players of both teams used to drink together in a civilised manner, they had the opportunity to extract the urine directly.
Form is important and rovers have it at the moment.

Personally, I think that applies to all other derbies in RL. This one, however, is different.

Craig Hall is a talented player but needs to improve his defence.
