Its all gone quiet on the official site since last weeks figure of over 18K sold. I'd have thought they'd have been proclaiming the 20K barrier being broken by now, unless we've not sold rag all since last week. Stains will have sold the North out by now but yet no news on the chav stand??
Update from those in the know please.............
When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club. We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens. Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before. Shaun Wane 8/10/09

20th: Wigan The Latics don't have any fans, yet alone any famous ones.

I was asked by a mate but couldn't tell her coz I've ran out of credit.
I'm told "sales are busy, probably not far off 20,000". It won't sell out. I reckon it might get to 21,000ish. Thursday Night is not friendly even with a bank hol the next day.

To be honest I don't think it's any less 'friendly' than a Friday night... In fact, if people are going away over the Bank Hol then it's probably better. The atmosphere will be great.

No true but a Good Friday kick off would attract those extra few Wigan (and Saints) fans who live far and wide across the country - which certainly from a Wigan point of view there are many. Thats the way I was looking at it. Should have explained my thinking.

It is a hard pill to swallow but unbelievably true.
