I'll hold my hand up as a bit of a whinger this year,BUT have had every right to in going to every game and still following our beloved club through thick and thin!I must of said 10 times to the lads i travel with on the way back from Dull last week"theres no way im coming back over here next week" but like the other merry die hards there today i pulled on my shirt this morning and thought this is what i love come win or lose and jumped in the car!!!
If any players reading this..Thanks a million lads for cheering me and the others up today and sat here now on top of the world!!You all did yourselves proud today, and i know we have all been slating you and some certain individuals coming in for more slack then others! But every single one of you were man of the match today, coz you believed in yourselves, played as a team, gave every drop of energy your bodies could give for the cause, didn't let your heads drop once and showed the doubters what your all capable of.Who would of thought that the same team more or less today has been hammered off the park in the last 6 games.Hope you are having a drink as a team together tonight...As you deserve it..Lets carry it in to the Wire game........
After 3......I SEE THE SALFORD REDS ARISING
IF WIDNES DESERVE A PLACE IN SUPER LEAGUE.......THEN THE POPE IS JEWISH!

Thought it was a nice touch from Rob Parker as he ran out at the start to applaud the Salford fans who had travelled, & as YR posted the camaraderie was there today, all giving back slaps & well dones. Lee Jewwitt did exceptionally well to prevent a cert try in the last minute of 1st half. FITZY, well what can we say, he has shut all his knockers up today. So glad for John Wilkinson & Howard Clague, who must have been in deep depths of emotion over the last weeks, lets hope we can kick on from here now.
The supporters coach was buzzing on the way home, what a great feeling from previous away return journey's.
As already said, big thanks to Hull FC supporters who wished us all the best & hope we pick up now.
BY THE WAY, WHERE ARE ALL YOU WINGERS TONIGHT HAVE YOU ALL KICKED THE CAT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO MOAN ABOUT TONIGHT
Lol well done Salford. You deserved it, we played like you have been

To the team, it was well overdue but what a performance you turned out today. You played as a unit & I remarked throughout the game how good it was to see the team backslapping each other & congratulating each other's defensive work. That's the first time I've seen that this season & it was very refreshing to see.
As for individuals, I'd really like to single out 2 players for special praise. Firstly, Luke Adamson who has been probably our stand-out forward this season but who was absolutely immense today in both attack & defence. Secondly, a player who's copped a lot of unfair abuse from some supporters this season; Rob Parker was an absolute workhorse today & had his best game in a Salford shirt to date. Alker, Smith & Fitzpatrick (2nd half in particular) also deserve big wraps for their performances today.
Thanks also to the Hull FC fans who were nothing but gracious in defeat, acknowledging that the better team won & wishing us well for the season from the moment we left the ground to when we finally got on the train. All that & the drama of Utd's win as well, what a day!
Wise words Yorkshire Red. Thought all the lads played with such commitment today, Adamson was outstanding, really hope we can keep this going, could be a great game against Warrington if we can.
Keep Playing The Young Talent. They Need To Gain Experience Now. These Lads Are SALFORD'S FUTURE. Bring on the BARTON

What a difference from last week.Fitzy had a great game, every time a bomb went up we all held our breath, but the lad did good.Smith showed signs of what he can do, that long pass to Mcgilvary nearly produced a great try.A bit of confidence is all that is needed, maybe that win will give it to us. First time at the KC stadium, hope ours is as good .hull fans all gracious in defeat, all saying best team won on the day.

Like every other Salford fan there, I thought the performance was outstanding. What struck me was that you could almost feel the self- belief flooding through the team as the match progressed. From a team that started the game with no confidence at all, we ended it with a never-say-die spirit that resulted in a 78th minute try and two minutes of outstanding defence as all of us watched with our hearts in our mouths. We thoroughly deserved the win. All seventeen were outstanding for me. All played for each other. We played a more expansive game and apart from a couple of lapses when Hull moved the ball wide , our defence was first rate. We also made two excellent breaks that should have resulted in tries. More of the same please!
I don't know how many people listened to Radio Humberside in the car on the way home, but I have never heard so much bias from radio presenters on a programme. They didn't really recognise any of Salford's qualities, except for the odd reference to us deserving the game, but spent most of what we heard suggesting that the pass for the last try was forward!!!! Could this be the same Hull team that was awarded a Video Ref try at the Willows two years ago after the ref had clearly shouted held and blown his whistle??
It was so good to be there and enjoy the celebrations at the end of the game. I've never enjoyed Hull so much.
Full marks too to the many Hull fans as we were leaving who wished us well and congratulated us on our team's performance.

With all the Hull fans posting here being very sporting in defeat we really don't need bitter HKR fans coming on just to insult their rivals. Keep your petty spite to your own board.
