FRIDAYS DERBY WILL NOT BE EASY AND IF WE TURN UP WITH ANYTHING SHORT OF 100% COMMITMENT FROM THE PLAYERS (AND THE FANS FOR THAT MATTER) WE WILL LOSE. THE EVENTS OF TODAY MEAN NOTHING.
HULL HAVE UNDERESTIMATED US IN RECENT YEARS TO THEIR DOWNFALL - WE SHOULD NOT RETURN THE FAVOUR.

Our commitment will be nothing short of 100%
Look what happenned last derby at KC we were red hot favourites and took a beating.
Play like we know we can we should all go home happy
Warrington beat us quite cosy after being awful all season.
Its still too close to call this one despite Hull being poor of late.
Rovers need to stick to the game plan and not get sucked into a forwards battle
I'm sure Morgan will have the players switched on to the derby. No club in this league can be taken lightly, and Hull are no exception to that.
DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)
I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
All todays result means to Rovers is that Hull will be even harder to beat on friday. They will be stung by todays embarrasment and come out breathing fire early doors next week. If we let them get on top in the early exchanges their confidence will grow and it could be a difficult afternoon.

i think whoever gets the best start could win this, we need to go at them hard from the start and get on top quickly. they will be hurting and looking to bounce back so Rovers need to be wary of that.
As much as I enjoyed Salford's win today, and believe me, I REALLY enjoyed it
I did think to myself (after the hooter went) that it will make next week harder on us. Saying that, if Rovers come with the right attitude from start to Finnish, I think we will still win

I know what you mean but I would rather go into a derby with a winning mentality
