What changes would you make for the Derby?

First of all I would play the only scrum half we have in the scrum half position, Tommy Lee has been putting the effort in all season and nearly won us the game today, while Thorman has been non existant for the last 3 games.

Second, start Thacks with either Dowes or Cusack, giving us an impact prop on the field for most of the game and not for 20 mins with both impact props been on at the same time.

Third, drop Moa, just cos he's not English, it doesn't mean we have to play him in every game. Get him in the reserves, get him fit and make him fight for his place in the team, the lad had potental but is not there yet.

Forth, employ some tatics, 5 drives and a kick has proven today that you wont score many points and even a team with the worse defence in the league will keep you out. Throw it around and use the backs, they are capable of scoring tries if you use them. We could even go crazy and use the wingers for attacking plays.

I agree that Lee has been effective and putting in loads of effort, but he's not a 7 and the halves are up against Dobson and Cooke. Thorman at least does have a kicking game, even if it's rarely in evidence

Props should be Cusack, Dowes, Thacks, King. I'd go with King and Dowes as starters, need to shut down Fozzard in the first 20.

Difficult to conjure up an attacking game off 3 matches playing 5 drives. Forwards need to create some space for Thorman and we need some raking kicks in to Calderwood. We've tried this about twice all season so far.

no no no  he did ok again today off the bench at hooker, but everytime he's played halfback in the past he's been shocking.

we haven't got a lot of options to be honest, its down to the players to show they actually care about this club, and the coaches to come up with a proper game plan and not just a load of random interchanges with no plan B.

Correct. As someone said at the fans' forum, all I want is for the players to be crawling off the pitch at the end with no ounce of effort left in them. That'll do for me.

The bench today was poor there was nobody on there really capable of changing a game. what is wrong with houghton surely hes a natural replacement for berrigan not lee.. whats the crack with motu every time hes mentioned hes 4 weeks away if hes crocked get rid..seem to be going backwards in my opinion cant see where the next win will come from..

You forgetting the derby match at the KC last season, you know the one where Morgan said Dobson was the best number 7 in the city, only for him to get outplayed by Lee.
