I thought swearing was tolerated?

Big thanks to certain members of the Barmy Army for shouting to the little boys not to swear. Success does indeed bring in extra fans but it does attract fans who think RL is soccer. Why there isn't at least one steward at the back of the stand I don't know. The same people who caused trouble post game Vs Widnes last year were there last night so I'm not surprised events similar happened once more.

We don't want the same reputation as certain RL clubs in terms of stupid fans, the club needs to nip this kind of behaviour in the bud sooner rather than later, otherwise people won't come and watch us as easily as we hope.

Im sure going back a few years (probably SL Era) there were stewards at the top of the steps in the Southstand, and Standing wasn't permitted behind the very back barrier.

This is a problem for the stadium management, that's why they pay for the people in the high visibility jackets who actually do nothing. Stadium management should look at the security / fan behavior.

OriginalFaxFan pointed out to PANDA77 the "big group of Stewards in the Away stand" on Friday night "Oh aye, I wonder what's up" he said,

One of their supporters coaches broke down at the Ainley Top M62 exit blocking the other coach behind it.

The Widnes fans obviously decided to use the impromptu stop as a Toilet break and had piled out onto the grass to water it. Couldn't miss them all swarming about in them shirts

Are you sure it wasn't work men doing a little resurfacing?

Maybe this is me being niave, but surely if someone knows who it is, can they not approach them and have a word??? If they continue to behave badly, get a steward on the case.
I agree that swearing isn't nice but everyone does it from time to time, but I certainly wouldn't agree with the statement, 'move with the times'

There were a least two bottles thrown both of which hit my brother, we reported these incidents after each bottle was thrown. I have to say the stewards are less than useless they should have stood among these t*****s to watch them. After the first incident i told one of the stewards to do something about it after about 10 mins he along with a lady steward went to the top of the stands for about 1 min. Obviously having no effect. as the second bottle was thrown after they returned to their safe place at the bottom of the ground. I have to say i'm very disappointed it spoiled what should have been a great night. When i pay good money to watch my team play i shoud'nt have to put up with this. I hope the Halifax board are going to take steps to prevent this happening again. We had alot of new supporters there on friday how many of them would be put of from returning because of these prats.
