The difference is Raynor did not plead guilty and so Hull had to await the verdict before thay could address the situation internally.
Cackayne's case is the opposite. He pleaded guilty at the time but it is now alleged that Rovers - despite this continued to back him despite knowing the full extent of the atrocity.
It is only now that the case is escalating to be so high profile and Joe Public is expressing outrage that Rovers deem it necessary to only now hold "future in the balance" talks.
After protecting the thug's skin for so long, they now rapidly move on to protecting their own. Oh dear.
Wormy, seriously, those knitting needles of yours are glistening away as per usual. You are wrong on so many different things its hard to know where to start. How about this one:
You claimed: Ben had shown no remorse, whilst the 'victim' claims in todays daily rag, that he has seen Ben since the incident and he was very apologetic (although obviously he wont accept it)
You appear to be someone who believes what is written on the internet as fact, a very sad state to be in. For instance, the stories online claim there to be 5 people involved, yet the video shows 2?? There again, the video hasnt been shown to us in full, just an edited version (bad as it is)
Im all for players being dealt with by the RFL, as someone else has mentioned, so long as they are ALL dealt with. Unfortunately there have been several players bringing bad media attention to the sport, Gareth Raynor, Paul Cooke (which incidentally your own club tried desperately to keep in-house) Leon Pryce for the glassing incident, Ryan Bailey, Chev Walker. It appears that several people are jumping on the 'Its HKR' burn um campaign, yet weren't so vocal when players from their own team were involved.

Ben has not publicly shown any regret apart from claiming prison was "Hell".
As for the rest - I think you must be responding to someone elses posts?
Clickety click. (I just need a measurement for your left ear - your hat's nearly finished. Please pm me with the length so I can get the flaps right. You did say you wanted the string to tie under your chin, now, that was right wasn't it?)

Probably get some stick on here for saying this but both players should be banned for life IMO!! The RFL should take it out of KRs hands. they could have killed that fella but for that woman interveening.....both should be serving time but such is the woeful criminal justice system in this country.
THe RFL need to send out a strong message though....neither of these two have a place on a rugby field and should serve lifetime Rugby bans to send out a message to them, but also to act as a deterant to all other players

And one punch could also have been enough to kill a certain bus driver
I dont hear you calling for Feka to be banned

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.
Not sure the internet in the right place to be talking about you flaps wormy!!
As per the official cub statement, neither they nor the player will be making any statements at this point. Whether they will inform you personally I have no idea, whether they release the information to the public I have no idea, but dont be getting all upset if they dont share it with you, after all its nothing your own club hasnt done.
Chief executive James Rule commented, “This matter will be dealt with as per our internal disciplinary policy.
“That procedure will be made private and confidential. There will be no further comment to the media”.
What are your thoughts towards Leeds Rhinos and Ryan Bailey? and Leon Pryce? Perhaps you could provide quotes of your condemnation of these players.
