Filled 2 sections in the stand, only 2500 in total. So 500+ giants at least. I'm in Middle on half way and groups of giants fans were in there too!

Well done Giants. We were outclassed.

Was cheering for Fartown at Twickers against Saints. Hope I'll be doing the same at Wembley this year and that you get the result this time.

please take note fellow coaches.. especially noble and matterson

Harlequins head coach Brian McDermott:
"It's massively disappointing. We got beaten by a better team.

"Huddersfield showed up and played better than we did. They defended very, very well.

"It's hard to gain any momentum against the Giants. They've got some stuff going. They are definitely hard to break down."

Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown on captain Brett Hodgson:
"He's an outstanding player in a very important position.

"Certainly having a good full-back improves your team dramatically.

"I think everyone agrees he's one of the best players in England at the moment."

What a nice day!

We played very well. Eorl was dominant, just ask LMS. Hodgson B a constant threat summed up with the final try. All played well, all knew their role.

The only disappointing thing was how we switched off after scoring a couple in the second half which allowed Quins to probe down their LHS to good effect.

For me this was better than the home game as we didn't get the bounce etc as we did at home yet still got a great win against a good side.

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

When Brett H was inured at that last try, he was helped backto the halfway line. Did anyone notice whether he finished the match or went off?

Eorl has to be one of - if not the - best props in SL at the moment.

Fatz had his best game for quite a while [as did Robbo]. 3 breaks, one of which he scored.

The last try was one of the best you'll ever hope to see. Griff took a leaf out of Eorl's book and passed in the tackle - as did Eorl himself. Wild made a superb break and unselfishly passed inside for Hodgson B to finish off under the posts.

There wasn't a weak link in our team. Even Mr Thaler had a good game - missed loads of offsides [& a blatant forward pass to Mason for him to score] both ways, but let the game flow.

Tansey gave an excellent Giants' monologue pre-match in the local Wetherspoon's [our Ben knew where to find it - can't imagine how!!].

There were so many positives today it was untrue. The match was just SO good to watch.

Even the winner of tomorrow's big two clash will be wary of playing us.

See you at Wembley!!!
