for saving the game by getting back and sweeping up the ball behind our lines, when it could have been a Widnes try.

Needs to protect the ball more when he runs with it though, it's heart in mouth stuff a lot of the time! That said his workrate is tremendous and he's already a huge hit with the fans.

Great game by all the lads, despite yet again some silly errors that gave Widnes the ball at crucial moments as well.
Thing is while our defence is great our attack can get better.

3 - Beswick - we conceded most of Widnes' points when he went off and lost our structure

2 - Govin - Tackled his heart out and was a great link between forwards and backs all evening

1 - Larder - 80 minute effort filling both prop and 2nd rows in the absence of Said.
