Carvell was the only bright spark of the afternoon, we were very poor first half with to very soft tries given away. After they had their player sent-off it broken up abit for us and we created some better chances towards the end of the match.
No Gleeson must be heading for the pies.

He took the club over in dificult circumstances and the team punched well above there weight in the play offs. We've got to be realistic, our glory days have gone, we're no longer a Saints, Leeds or a Warrington.

Who cares about Martin Gleeson............back to the the thread title and how the performance was.
Yeah, it wasn't the best. We let York score a few soft tries, but we created some opportunities ourselves and took them. The sending off helped things as we were able to control the defence.
Carvell had a stormer of a game and was my Man Of The Match by a country mile!
No idea what the "On Report" was for though. Anyone care to enlighten me who had a better view of it?
The performance was dire in the first half although to be fair i wasnt 100% watching the game, some guy threw up next to me just before the game and the commotion from the stewards trying to sort a cleaner for most of the first half was laughable
The 2nd half was better, I thought they were creating more options and IMO Bridge had a cracking game.
The atmosphere was good in the 2nd half too, whoever it is with the drum did a good job of lifting the spirit in the south stand
