Well done to all your fans that made the journey to the Shay tonight, the M62 can be a 'mare on a friday.
Your team played well and I don't think anyone else can match 'Fax & Widnes over the course of the season and in the big games.
A cracking game, typical cup tie but both teams made a lot of handling errors.

Anyone know what happened to the coach that was stuck on the sliproad blocking the exit?

I don't think Barrow will be too far behind.

TF and the wire said of the Widnes Vikings....Best in the World.

To echo previous comments, your turnout tonight was a credit to your club although there was at least one very vocal absentee (VM!!!) :D

Good triip as ever, sadly a dry one for me

We just didn't make the most of opportunities when they came our way, I don't like to say it but we need a personal clear out. Well not a mad exodus of playing staff but we need to have a long hard look at our squad. Harsh maybe but true.

I don't think there was anything in it really, both teams you could argue under-performed to a slight degree but I feel we had the chance to win the game a few times. We need to be taking games like that by the scruff of the neck. We aren't quick enough a lot of the time, and some of our defensive displays were simply awful. But we did show signs of promise but need to learn how to keep hold of a lead.

an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!

I echo my fellow fax fans' sentiments. A tremendous following from you lot tonight. I think our two teams put a few SL teams to shame tonight.

Always enjoy my trip to the shay but it was a lot better having our own stand again this time.

We do need to do things quicker. We are far too pedestrian at times and this allows teams like Fax to get on the front foot. Not sure we need wholesale changes everyone including the coach knows what we need.

Have a good season fax and we'll see you later on!

Excellent turnout from you lot last night. Shame we can't play you on a Sunday afternoon down the Shay as I think we may get over 4000 to watch.
