The fact it was caught on cctv just adds to the disgrace of the two . No sane human being could defend it and the punishment handed out has to be accepted whether we agree with it or not .
The RFL has to make a stand somewhere and i think with the video in the public domain they should make it now . Our kids see players as there heroes on the field and should see them in the same light off the field, it's not just this case the unprofessional conduct of some players from across the leagues seems to be growing and a stand must be taken and the law laid down .

Anyone who condones it or justifies it by referring to other incidents and other players is deluded.
You cannot say someone else was involved in a completely seperate incident is the same, regardless of how much I dislike Gareth Raynor.
I might go out burgling tonight because surely that's okay because a couple of years ago someone burgled me.....
Not a chance! Rovers shirt sales with Cockayne on the back will go through the roof this week, and shortly after he'll be promoted to club captain and assistant coach to the under 21's!
The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.

England footballer Steven Gerrard looked relieved yesterday after assault charges against him were dropped. The £120,000-a-week Liverpool captain puffed out his cheeks as he left a court hearing over an alleged bar brawl which left a businessman injured.
Gerrard, 28, is still accused of affray
So you are still maintaining the two cases are comparable in severity, then?

If anybody sticks up for him or say he shouldn't be banned by the RFL then your idiots
"They'd butt each other like a pair of billy goats and would both look like a mess at the end of the game. I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. They were a breed apart, fornt-rowers - blokes like Bluey were proof of that." Johnny Raper on Billy Wilson and other front rowers of the time

Sickening behaviour the RL should take action without hesitation. No room for that behaviour in our family sport. The judge who failed to imprison both of the individuals should be stood down with immediate effect. Well done to Cas for acting so swiftly in sacking the other coward.
