with regards to cockayne & with due respect to hkr, they have stated that an internal investigation is underway as did the rfl and on the completion of this investigation then they will decide what action(s) to take
with the rfl on his case, cockayne could be looking at a hefty suspension or being sacked or even both
with the pryce and reardon cases, the clubs would have to see what action the courts will take before acting themselves
in all cases the playrers should be punished by their clubs and by the rfl as they are in the public domain so to speak and therefore could be considered role models and this would make the game of rugby league look bad if these incidents are allowed to go unpunished by both parties
after all an army soldier who who is found guilty of any offence under civilian law is also severely punshed by the army, are they not
