Bear in mind that Sutcliffe has no authority to directly affect decisions by UKBA. All he can do is make some enquiries and then sit back and see what happens.

Maybe they need to make themselves be taken seriously and tackle this head on. Minority sport or not they have the right to be heard by the sports minister, and im sure the immigration minister will be delighted to set the record straigh before the new football season starts in case they encounter the same issues we have!!
