the club also should be fined for not handling there players ,
as over in aussie ,the ARL out there dont stand for nothing, before it even gets to court players have been fined suspended, and the clubs also fined,
and then they decide what they do after its been to court.
also stand bye MR REARDON AND PRYCE, THEY BOTH SHOULD OF BEEN FINED BY THE RFL AND SUSPENED along with the clubs both players play for.
but THE RFL AT RED HALL HAVE NO GUTS, enough said.
Know where your coming from....but ..... why should the clubs be fined ?
Had they been jailed...guess the clubs wouldn't have had to pay wages...if they do, they will make them earn them
Can't see this incident being any different to those involving Mssrs Pryce, Bailey, Walker, Reardon, Raynor, Cooke & countless other sportsmen from other sports convicted of violent crimes. The club will condemn & fine the player I expect but as for sacking him, I doubt it.
If Hull KR do decide to take a moral stance then fair play to them, however, if not they'll be following a precedence that was set well before this incident.

Not defending either of them for the way they retaliated but I read in the news that the lad they beat up started the violence by landing a punch and putting their mate on the floor.
With the incident being on CCTV why couldn't their mate also get the police to press charges against the lad who hit him? (The arguable victim in all this)
HKR are the innocent party here with regards Cockayne the problem is with the criminal justice system in this country it "stinks".
How a 51 week jail sentence can be given and then suspended is beyond belief especially for the crime that was committed in this instance.
We have had old ladies given time for non-payment of council tax and here we have a pair of thugs who must feel that they have hit the jackpot with this judge, who quite probably will have been given a free ride to court, with a silver service lunch over two hours and they think that they know what is going on in the real world.
There is a big difference in defending one's self and using reasonable force and what these two did.
Will they sack him? they could do but are under no obligation to do so unless there is a clause in his contract that allows them to do so.
Will they suspend him? They should do for the clubs and the fans sake, what an example to anybody are these two.
