25 1/2 hrs to go...... cant wait!!!!!

COME ON FAX......

Lets put a marker down for the rest of the season. I like what Dwayne Barker had to say about this in today's courier. The players are up for this, lets make sure we all are!!

For Widnes, Cullen has named a squad of 19 for the game. Fletcher is back but sadly for us TKL will be missing

It's the challenge cup, neither side are likely to progress much further after this round anyway. I hope we win but it wont be the end of the world if we lose.)

it will be a close game but i think fax have a better pack.

Fax 28-18 Widnes

Watched the live game on sky a few weeks ago and Fax looked pretty awesome. Beswick must be the buy of the league for you guys.

I am not a betting man, don't understand it at all.

Does this mean that the bookies think that they will beat us by 8 points?

Correct, Skybet think we will beat them by 8 points, so if you place a handicap bet on Widnes to win, and they lose by 7 points you still win the bet, basically add 8 to Widnes score.
Always remember to take the option of the draw, they happen a lot because they think we will win by 8, if we do then the game is a draw on the handicap. Thats how the bookies make their money, people forget to take the draw so nobody wins (except the bookies)

Does that mean:

20 - 20 is not a draw in their eyes
28 - 20 is a draw

That is correct, but only if you take the handicap bet, which gives better odds so better pay out.
You can still take a straight win/lose bet with no handicap so the final result is exactly what is on the scoreboard but the odds are pretty poor so won't win much money.

I think Widnes will win tonight, as they have the added advantage of Toa Kohe-Love not playing.
