...and who decided that releasing it less than a week after the england soccer shirt was a good idea?

looks like one big Gillette advert to me.

I like the way its pretty plain, but would prefer the words RUGBY LEAGUE to be more prominant.

I wonder whether it has those lovely 'fuzzy felt' logos like the WC shirt?

anyway, looks like a training top not a RL shirt IMO
