Stuart Fielden at his very best made less metres, less carries, less tackles, more errors and more missed tackles.
Yet this guy could go really well in the NRL yet Graham not as good ?
Okkkkaaayyyyy........
Whilst I think its pretty obvious Jammer is one of our players that could go well down under, have a closer look at Fielden's stats - he's got an average metre per carry of 8.3, which is huge. Add that to his higher number of offloads he (in 2004) is/was obviously the more high impact of the two.
However, considering people say playing 80 minutes a week burnt him out, his work rate is unimpressive compared to Jammer's. He also missed a lot more tackles.

I don't think there is any doubting the impact Fielden used to make, he used to change the game consistently for the Bulls. However his stats don't lie. On a consistent basis he made less metres and less carries combined with less tackling and more missed tackles.
Consistency is the key for me here although it matters not. Fieldens game has seen his be a shadow of what he was when he should really be peaking right now, he is a complete enigma in the game. Funnily enough, I think a spell in the NRL right now could be perfect for Fielden. Sharpen up his appetite for the game, lay some demons to rest and regain his undoubted talent.

But he shows up quite well in this comparison with his old pal.
Since we're comapring "similar types of props", thought this would be an interesting comaprison for Jammer. F*ck me, terry was a good prop - look at those yards per carry (doesn't look like he had to do as many minutes, mind).

Terry was alright but 43 missed tackles? Its no good having great attacking game if you cant tackle. (penny anyone)

O'Connor was a good player. It shows again how brilliant Graham is, his workload is amazing. O'Connor's metre per carry is impressive, but warped by the fact that he didn't do as much work as Jammer, which always makes it easier.

That's not a bad stat. Only two a match which is not bad for a prop who is putting himself about a lot. It just so happens that Jammers tackle success percentage is outstanding.

So you finally agree i am right Stuart Fielden and James Graham are two different types of Prop Forward and therefore cannot really be compared with each other to an extent...

If Terry was a good prop, then Jammer is world class, he's outplayed O'Connor in almost every stat.
