No contest. Richards and Ainscough are the first two choice wingers IMO.
I agree with your sentiments that standards should be raised at Wigan and there should be a ruthlessness employed to meet those standards.
However Amos Roberts is a proven, classy winger. I'm a big fan of his and although he's not set the world on fire, there's not doubt in my mind that all he needs are two things - time and a good centre.
The try he scored against Huddersfield would not have been scored by Colbon, Calderwood or Richards for that matter. That's what he does best and I look forward to him doing it more regularly at Wigan.
I see Richards, Ainscough and Roberts as the long term back three at Wigan.
