in america, ESPN show some of it's content on ABC, called ESPNonABC..this works because both ESPN & ABC are owned by disney...could something similar not happen here seeing as BskyB own part of ITV? so we'd have SKYSPORTS on ITV?..

No, they may own shares at the moment, but don't control the company or their programming. If ITV had any interest in showing rugby league, they'd have bid in any of the numerous times rights have been for sale over the past 15 years or so, ditto Five, Channel 4 etc.

i dont understand why this doesnt already apply to the SL, i thought it was european law that tv rights cant be monopilised by one channel, it seems its one law for the EPL and another for everyone else

The BBC have trailed it on a couple of other sports broadcasts, the coverage of the F1 last weekend had a little "coming up on BBC Sport" thing which mentioned the two live games.

If it's not moronball they arn't interested.
i would go furher and say international moron ball. they give domestic RU small coverage to, although the guiness premiership highlights are on at sensible times.

Channel 5 should make league its number one sport and advertise it widely, just as CH4 did to guge success with American Football a few years ago. Im writing a letter.
Itv have nothing to do with channel 4 let alone Horse racing. In fact channel 4 dont even pay for the rights.
