good idea to let talau go or bad idea??
I highly rated Talau, but have always been a massive fan of Gilly too and isnt doing a bad job in the centres.
I cant make my mind up

Good idea. Gilly is playing as well as Talau did, possibly better in some games. Because of him slipping outside, we are seeing some young guns come through, and getting the best out of established youngsters in the back row.

Overall, it was a very shrewed move.
defo. we havent missed him at all IMO.
I'm sure he would have done the same job he has been doing for years, but his leaving has opened up opportunities for a number of youngsters.

As opposed to stray dogs, concrete, North Road, Pilks and chavs?

IMO his age and the overall age of the squad meant he had to go - We all know we will be replacing quite a few players over the next few years and we cant afford financially or team wise tro do this all at once. Allowing him to leave has meant a space opening up either in the backs or in the back row that is allowing us to develop our young players by giving them all important gametime.
