Just seen Boots n'all online.
I don't know which was funniest. Barrie McDermott saying that the Salford team need to:
"Wake up and smell the camel's back"
Or Bill Arthur's expression on hearing it.
Classic

Some of the things he says crack me up.
He still comes out with his 'he needs to try and stay on the island' stuff when a player is getting dragged off the pitch now and again.

I'm a big fan of Barrie Mc. The William Hill radio podcasts with him and Terry O'Connor are hilarious.

That was a classic a couple of weeks back at the Fax , Widnes match
" What year was it you got Widnes relegated Tez ? "
Silence followed for about ten seconds then Terry started talking about the game again
kcab sfrawdder Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

One of my favourites was his reply to Eddie trying to give him stick...
Eddie - "We should record rules onto cassettes so you can listen to them at night, Barrie".
Barrie - "They don't make cassettes anymore Eddie... iPods!"
