We'll be spending upto the salary cap next season, so it's not a case of his unwillingness to spend money. He'll be spending it, but obviously doesn't want to make the same mistakes we have in the past.
Why should we spend money when Andy Lynch is out of contract in 2010 and could sign him for free?
I'd sooner work with what we have got for the rest of the season than spend lots of cash. It's not football, it's rugby league - contracts are valued.
