I don't want to name names for legal reasons but there have been a few cases past and present were players have been a little bit naughty and broke the law.
Just wondering if people think that if a player breaks the law (a fairly serious law) that they should be banned from the game.
We have a reputation [rugby] of being a family sport with good reletionships with the community as a whole.
Players need to be good role models and frankly some have been far from it.
Should we make examples of players now so that future players start to learn that these types of things will not be tolerated

I also understand were your coming from and in the everyday job im sure you would be sacked or to put it another way, your job wouldn't be there for when you got out.
It's a difficult question to answer but i think it should be the decision of the club and not made an RFL rule.

I agree that players should receive some sort of punishment, however i think it should be the clubs responsibility to do this. If Warrington had any players that broke laws such as assault, breaking and entering or drugs offenses, I would like to se the club sack these players not "support them through this difficult time". I do agree with the point about which offenses should be punished, but I would hope that the club could use it's better judgement to realize what actions are unacceptable for a professional player.
