I've been told that no huddersfield officials will officiate in this seasons cup finals (as decided by the referees management)
Sing a song of Yorkshire, from the Humber to the Tees Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese I know no other county where the land is quite so fine England's lovely county. And I'm proud to call it mine
Where shining purple heather stretches far across the moor And the lapwing's cry above me takes the place of traffic roar And peace comes drifting gently, there's no place I'd rather be Than this land of hills and valleys, from the Pennines to the sea
So when I've done my roaming, and when my step grows slow When heart and mind assure me that the time has come to go Then let me rest in Yorkshire, for its there I want to lie 'Neath sun and wind and heather... and a gleaming Yorkshire sky

It should be ok Wadski.
It has a concrete path all the way round the outside so is suitable for buggy's, has a stand so you can sit down and on the other side of the field is a grass banking so if the weather is suitable you could sit on the grass and have a picnic!

Maybe some local referees are not into making Political Statements and would prefer to be refereeing rather than throwing their dummy out of the pram.
For those who are interested the Local referees Society were asked who was qualified and available to officiate at all of the local finals including Junior Finals and instead of telling the League who was available they told it who should be officiating. The League therefore appointed Huddersfield referees who were top of the rankings with the Pennine League so the local Refs Society said that they would tell thetr members not to officiate in the local Cup Finals.
In cases like this the only losers are good quality referees who deserve the honour to be officiating at a Local Cup Final and cannot.
