I agree, I want Fax to win all the games the play in, League, Cup or even friendlies.

Come on Fax, lets keep this run going!!

Only if you have a crystal ball. Apart from the upping of the prize money we could get a money-spinning tie in the next round (Wigan/Hull). I admit, a tie against Harlequins wouldn't be worth it. You also have to consider the sponsors - i'm sure they'd like us to go as far as we can. Hull KR's win against Warrington three years ago was a right boon to them.

If we turn the amount of dominance we had last time in to points in the second half we should win. Fletcher is also back for this game and he has been awesome thus far this year.

Love a brew.

Weirdly I think that a cup run would be good but I feel we should concentrate on the league and NRC as they have a bigger bearing on our future as a club.

I'd rather get one of-

Sheffield vs Dewsbury
Swinton vs Rochdale
Batley vs Hunslet
Doncaster vs Gateshead
Oldham vs Lezignan (as long as it doesnt mean a trip to france)

Wouldn''t be a Money spinner but would allow us to progress furthur in the cup. Which would be better than beating Widnes then getting one of the SL sides in the 5th round and getting put out then.

The lads will be playing for winning money, the board will be hoping for a next round money-spinner and we the speccies don't want to see our team lose. We need to go as far as we can in all comps and get as many speccies into the ground as possible. A good cup run might just finance another player into the squad.

Just for the record, if we're anywhere near full strength I expect us to just win this tie.

I agree with all of that, but:

1. Are we likely to win the CC?
2. Are we likely to pick up more injuries playing against SL teams?
3. Which would you prefer, a good run in the CC and half the squad out with season long injuries or to drop out in the next couple of rounds and have a good run in the NRC and League?

Everybody wants to see the team do well and win every game, but I'd just be happy to compete at the top level in the league we are in and a cup we have a chance of winning.

I don't want us to lose the semi of the NRC and end up 3rd in the league because we only have half a squad and end up with nothing.

You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how ya gonna have a dream come true?

Are you claiming all you are entitled to? www.debtadvicenetwork.org then go to "Self Help" then "Benefits & Entitlements".

If we play any where near as bad as our first half performance last week against the Eagles you will have no problem.
