This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!

To answer the question, Richard Myler is not a relation to Tony or Frank or the rest as far as I know. He's related to Doug Laughton though, IIRC?

He was part of Widnes scholarship and Academy and player a handful of first team games towards the back end of 2007, including the play off semi final at Cas. He left that winter when the club went into administration.

If I have it correct, Rob Myler, who played at Warrington, is Richie Mylers step dad. Richie is also Doug Laughton's nephew. As richardviking has said, Richie is not related to the other Mylers, but carries the name because of his step dad.

Splitting hairs but he might be great-nephew rather than nephew of Doug Laughton.

Doug, in turn, was great-nephew of Paddy Douglas and Jerry Laughton*, the Widnes half-backs at Wembley in 1930 so young Richie has a good pedigree.

* I realise this makes it sounds like Douglas and Laughton were married to each other but this was not the case.

This is why events unnerve me.

Richie's Dad is Dave Laughton, one of the coaches at The Albert
