fair for u louts!
na just kidding, the view from south is shocking but plans are afoot to rectify this, however, i doubt it very much that the cost of a ticket for the kfc will reduce in seasons to come.

I had to miss the first derby last season at CP because I couldn't get a ticket in the North Stand and will not be attending any future games if the only ticket I can get is the South Stand. This is not an "excuse" and has nothing to do with having to stand or getting wet etc its purely down to actually wanting to be able to see the game and not being ripped off.

Giz a shout closer to the game chief

I'm gonna spit all over you, by accident of course.

I think the main problem with away fans not wanting to come is because there is no way to generate any atmosphere what so ever, can't make any noise etc.

What absolute rubbish, i have travelled far and wide over the years and been to many grounds that have had no cover but we still managed to generate an atmosphere, the old Boulevard and Featherstones ground been prime examples, both had open ends were the KR fans stood in the past but the atmosphere was always excellent. i have had many a soaking at those grounds and others besides, plus been frozen to the bone during the the old days of winter rugby, but it never detered myself or the the other thousands of rovers and, dare i say Hull fc fans, from travelling and supporting their teams
If you travel in numbers and realy get behind your team as a unit you will always generate an atmosphere, perhaps if you ask us nicely we may even give you a few lessons on how its done  .

I'll second that. Our first try I was cheering our lad on as I thought he had another 20 yards or so to go. When he plopped over I thought he'd fallen Grand National style.

Not a fan of watching it from behind the posts but I'll be back, even if you could count our following on one hand for the Challenge Cup game.

because away fans feel that facilities for them are poor and wont pay £20 for such sub standard facilities its not rocket science really guys

Quote:I'm all for having a dig at Rovers but thats just silly.
the away end at odsal is just as bad as the south stand at Craven park

there is no away end at odsal, most supporters choose to stand behind the posts which is miles away from the pitch, huddersfield fans tend to congregate along the side which is not brilliant but is a massive improvement

Quote:balls, we manage to generate atmosphere where ever we go, just excuses IMO

it's far easier to create an atmosphere in a modern covered stadium than on a piece of hard plastic in the open humberside air. HTH

Quote:So what do people suggest we do about it?

improve facilities to encourage more people to fork out £20 for the pleasure of visiting craven park,it might work??
