The deadline for signing players for this years Challenge Cup?

I hope Gleeson does play this weekend too.

After the Thackary fiasco last year I'm sure it will be watertight this year!

Isn't there an "Amnesty" before the 1/4's as well i.e even if you have played in a previous round for another club or din't sign before the deadline for rounds 3 & 4 you can still play in the Qtr's???

Anybody who is to play in the 1/4s, semi or final must be registered by the close of business on the Monday immediately prior to the 1/4.

Is there a deadline in the early rounds?

I wouldnt get too excited even if we do sign Gleeson. IMO his best years have passed him a long time ago. Even at his best he was never the complete centre. I remember Saints fans moaning that he didnt pass enough to his winger. His main strengths were his footwork and being able to wrong foot the opposition.

Which is something we don't have at the moment with Bailey at centre.
