Fair enough, and valid comment.
Can you, however, comment on playing a forward for 15 minutes and having no discernable alternative game plan?
Didn't know Keith Senior had got his coaching badges - never mind was selling them!

Agreed. As far as I'm concerned whenever I've heard the coach speak in person he's spoken sense. I didn't hear his post match comments so can't pass judgement either way but - five from seven ain't too bad and certainly not worth throwing the baby out with the bath water over. Yes I was disappointed we couldn't overcome what I saw as Quins' spoiling tactics on Saturday but at least they can learn and move on. Marathon not sprint remember.....(feel free to add any further cliches as required.....)

Before Quins I wanted the same team to be retained as for the Cas game, as I wrote on one of the threads on here. This was on the proviso that Moa would play 2 stints of at least 10 mins in each half and preferably 15. I wanted Thacks playing too. Neither happened and I totally disagree with Agar's selection and use of his bench. It's a real issue for him to put right as our props are being hammered. So sort it out Agar. But I'm not calling for his head on that basis.
As for the game plan I have no more idea than you what our plans were. I suspect that as a result of losing to Cas because of a ridiculous number of individual errors there was an emphasis on ball security both in the week's training and in the match tactics. We were not actually that bad in the first half despite showing a lack of intensity in my opinion. In the second half I would have liked to have seen us attempt something different however we had little field position because we failed to match Quins' enthusiasm and intensity in defence and they played in our half. We also played against the wind which allowed Randall to keep us anchored on our 20. I agree with you that better use of the bench may well have given us more energy and field position in the second half. Maybe then we could have put some moves on.
In summary I think Agar has made mistakes as have/do the players. I just think some of the criticism is over the top and I also think calling for a coaches' head every 10 minutes, as some seem to do, is pathetic.

I don't blame him for doing that, he has tried something different, Moa is a unique player in our squad and whilst he has done quite well it now seems obvious that we need to rethink it. If Agar does make the changed then I don't think we can have a go as he will have at least tried something a little different.
I think there are sections of our fans who just can't wait for Hull to lose so they can say 'I told you so' regarding Agar.

as is the defeatest attitude by some like yourself on here that think the performance at the weekend is acceptable!! FFS cant you see that we have buckled already !!!
as many have said on here n the past , I pays my money week after week home and away and I will say my piece on what I think was one decent performance so far this season at bradford, a couple of hard earned wins, and two feck awful shows ......
a team with no rudder ..........

I dont travel the length of the UK weekly to be proved right , I travel to at the very least see a team with some spirit after 6 games in!!!
its not like we have a massive injury list or anything we can blame this year !!
Or as standee hinted upon:: shall we all just agree that nothing is wrong and blinker up again, jesus

We would all have taken 5 from 7 at the start of the season. Okay we have lost the last two but cut Agar some slack, so far this season we are doing well.
If we lose then next 2/3 then lets start considering our options maybe.

Paul I know what your saying and as you know I have defended Agar as far back as last season but the match on saturday was quite possibly the most ordinary I have seen , we could have took the wingers and centres off the field in the second half and no one would have noticed!!, this ongoing uninspiring display mentality is not what I expect but have to endure each week more often than not .... and thats down to one man !!
I agree with an earlier post i would not be surprised if we loose against Salford and if we do , then its time to open the cheque book for a top coach for once and stop going cheap!! wether its Bennett or not it has to be someone , we have the squad but no quality
