can anyone tell me why it is I subscribe to sky sports 1,2 and 3 but I cant get SSN yet it is available on freeview

It's part of Sky's "News & Events Pack" so presumably you don't have that.

I just presumed it would be part of the sports package especially with it being on freeview

Not missing much, although Offiah did improve this week, I only noticed two glaring errors:
