I see what you're saying there, Phil, but he's been laying into them for so long now, almost burying them. If he was to lose to, in all fairness, three old men, then bang goes the credibility of the company's top heel.
What I see happening is perhaps him to get a sneaky victory and then use it to elevate himself in his promos, proclaiming that he is surely a shoe-in for the Hall Of Fame and that he is not only on par with, but better than, Piper, Steamboat and Snuka
combined.
I honestly can't see any of those three or Flair being involved past 'Mania, and I can't see Mickey Rourke's name getting mentioned on WWE TV again tbh, so I see little point putting them over.
The problem here lies with who is left for him to work with after Mania? I can't see any obvious names at the minute.
