The only positive to come out of the Saints team this year, is they havent got Talau to score the first try, in the first 5 minutes with a simple try in the corner, which seems to be the case everytime we play Saints.
This game we need impact from the bench, because we cant get beat in the first 20 mins AGAIN.

We'll get battered, the forwards need to show more heart. Why on earth we spent money on Roberts in the close season rather than bringing in a forward is beyond me.
Everybody is complaining about 5 drives and a kick style of play so why the great desire for another forward? What we need is some different tactics with the players we have.

Because we need someone like 'Westy' in the early 80's, to grip the pack and thence the team. We haven't got a real captain in the team.
You cannot win behind a beaten pack.
How's about signing Mason from Oz ? He is a real dirty so and so, but if you want to win trophies, you need them up front.
Unfortunately, I think that Lenagan is 'too tight' to spend on top class. He would rather 'do it' on the cheap.

Saints will have a field day if Smith plays
They will pick out Hock as the dangerman and do what Leeds did to him and near enough mark him out the game. Unless the other forwards pull their finger out and give him some back up

Too much downbeat talk. Look at it this way we have injuries now and a tough game coming up against Leeds - you lot get to steamroller Barrow.. We then have to turn around and play a Wigan team that will no doubt be fired up for the Derby and there will be a massive crowd (capacity I hope) shouting them on. I expect a tough game not a walkover.
