Taken from another forum......

When are Wigan going to take heed of their senses
local lad Paul Pendlebury, playing in the national prem. div.
has taken the Man Of The Match 15 games out of 19 prem games
also played for Great Britain Community Lions against France B at Wakefield last week
taking the Man OF The Match and also getting awarded by the French Management
keep talking about local talent, someone soon will pull him from under Wigan noses
you have been WARNED.Remember Sean Long He was Wigans greatest loss.

Who is this lad, how old is he?

Is he tallent that is good enough for a sl club?

Hes 21 by the way is in my opinion, is certainly good enough for NL1. Not sure about superleague. Quite possibly

Outstanding player Pengy :) Like MNPP said I don't think he's interested in playing pro in the slightest - hard for some people to accept on here I suppose.

He hasnt been presented with the right opportunity if that is the case.

With the right opportunity im sure he would take it.

Nah, I don't believe that. I don't know Pengy at all but people have mentioned him on here before. If his heart isn't in it then he's not right for Pro Rugby. A mate of mine was an outstanding football player but he just couldn't be arsed at all. He was offered trials at Sheff Wednesday but turned them down because he wanted to enjoy himself.

Got to say this is a top signing

Great player, but simply doesn't want to play the game professionally.

He plays at St Judes were he is involved with a bunch of lads who seem close knit and they have a good community there. They all seem proud of their club & team and are close mates. Also, he works for his Dad's roofing company so is ok financially.

He is a follower of these boards and occaisonally posts so I'm sure he'll be loving this thread.
