what a game that was, the elements may have taken its toll for the methley club in the second half as the rain lashed down into their faces, in the end stanley under 11s was victorious by 16 points to 10, the last being sublime keiron's pass in the tackle to lewis for him to score had everybody in awe,
but it was the overall team performance in defense that won them the day,

having had two dire games previously to today's, I told my lad to just do it for Leon and he did, I am very proud of him and the rest of the team too :D

thanks again to Al for coming to watch in horrible weather you seem to fetch the best out of him  and you ticket didn't win again

tomorrow morning sees Stanley Under 9s take the unbeaten run to the very last team to beat them (before the start of the season in a friendly) Eastmoor Dragons on Sunday for a 10:30 KO . Not only is this a tasty fixture but off course they are very close rivals so here's hoping that its a great game for all the kiddies involved.

I will be down the road at ferry lane as the under 8s are at home with a 10am KO . the 8s have progressed very well since September and i for one am looking forward to seeing my little soldier performing his "leg tackles2 and his running straight n hard with ball in hand.

good luck to all teams tomorrow
