Heard last night that the negotiations that have brought Leigh Genesis back to the LSV included a 'lucrative' sponsorship for Genesis by Wigan Metro......can anyone confirm.

The new manager on the radio said the LSV have been brilliant with them and they were now going to be playing at the staduim. So I presume they are being supported by Wigan Council.

That will mean an increase in poll tax.Or perhaps they`ll just charge LRLFC more.

Sponsorship at non-league level is generally regarded as just a tax dodge from directors/chairmen anyroad, as far as I'm aware.
